Early Career
Skattebo was born in Rio Linda, California where he went to Rio Linda High School. After reaching junior year, Cameroon outperformed in American football and aided his team in winning the state championship. He rushed for 3,550 yards and made 42 touchdowns. During his tenure at college, he joined the Sacramento State Hornets football team. Now in the year 2024, the American star plays for the Arizona State Sun Devils.
The California-born star ran 520 yards during his freshman year in 2021 and completed 6 touchdowns in 57 carries. This outstanding performance won him a spot on the third team at Big Sky. Next year in 2022, Cameron rushed for 1,382 yards and made 7 touchdowns during the sophomore year.
This surely granted him a spot in the first team of all-Big Sky. He was also announced as the offensive player of the year for Big Sky. After the end of the same year, Skattebo applied for the NCCA transfer portal.

In 2023, Skattebo rushed 111 yards and completed 1 touchdown during his career as an Arizona State player. He also completed 2 of his 3 passing attempts made for 42 yards. Both his parents are American, and they are believed to have a great impact on the lives of Cam. Leonard Skattebo is the Co-founder as well as the owner of the Trifecta Home Services Corporation. He earned his diploma from Rio Linda High School. The interesting fact about him is that he has 24 years of professional experience in the pest industry.
Both his parents gave comfort to their son after his loss in the Peach Playoff quarter-final where the No. 4 seed Arizona State Sun Devils faced the No. 5 seed Texas Longhorns. Leonard Skattebo wrote on Twitter stating:

Although Cam took the offensive MVP award with him, he was still in mourning due to his team’s loss. The cameras at the game show Cameron in a squatting position while looking down after the loss to the Arizona Devils. Skattebo was then consoled by his teammates, who also applauded his efforts in the game. He walked off the pitch while blowing kisses to the crowd. Moments later, Cam was seen with his father in the stands, which seemed like a heartfelt moment between him and his son.
Arizona State Sun Devils lost the match 39-31 in double overtime. But this did not stop Becky Skattebo, mother of Cam Skateebo from applauding her son on social media. She wrote:
Such a crazy game. SO PROUD of him and his whole team. They proved why they deserved to be there. They don’t quit! He put everything he had into that game, and I’ll always feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to join the Sundevil Nation.
Cam Skattebo Future
Cameron was named the offensive MVP of the Peach Bowl. This marks the end of his two seasons at Sun Devils where he performed much better. His fans hope to see more of this performance in the future from him. The American hopes for a strong start to his third season at Arizona State.
