Tiffany Trump’s recent appearance at the Presidential Inaugural Ceremony 2025 created a buzz on the internet. While many admired her fashionable statement in support of her father’s presidential sworn-in, some were curious about her background. Although the media often overlooked Tiffany, her stylish presence made the public wonder more about her.

Tiffany Trump’s Mom

Tiffany was born to Donald Trump and his second wife, Marla Maples. The two initially met in 1985 when Trump was still married to his first wife, Ivanka. By around 1989, their relationship rumors began to be circulated around. In an interview later, Maples stated that although she knew Trump was already married, she believed his heart was with her and therefore, she never considered herself as a mistress. 

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Maples revealed that during an argument between Trump and Ivanka, Ivanka turned to Maples and asked if she was the one who “had been loving her husband for years.” Maples further added that she didn’t want to create a scene. Ivanka then continued to ask Maples to stay away from her husband reportedly saying that they “had a happy marriage.”

marriage for his kids. However, Trump and Ivanka divorced in 1990.

Marla Maples and Trump’s relationship

In 1993, Maples gave birth to Tiffany and shortly afterward got married to Donald Trump. Their marriage lasted for three years before eventually splitting in 1997. Explaining the reasons behind the divorce in an interview with PEOPLE, Maple stated that the two had different outlooks on life and often clashed about the way to raise their daughter. She further stated that she also never felt like herself living the luxurious life.

Trump and Maples’ divorce created national news. Although Maples signed a prenup before marriage, she claimed to not have enough understanding of the matter at the time. After battling for 2 years in courts, Maples gave up to prevent “emotional turmoil.”

Despite avoiding the limelight for most of her life, Tiffany endorsed her father’s campaigns even speaking at some of them. Trump also announced Tiffany’s pregnancy with her husband, Michael Boulos. The 47^th President also appointed Boulos, who is a Lebanese American businessman, as a Middle East adviser.

Tiffany’s fashionable appearance in a stunning off-shoulder grey dress by Zuhair Murad at the inauguration ball in 2025 made her stand out. Despite rumors about tension between Marla Maples and her daughter with the rest of the Trump family, they appear to be friendly in public.

Maples’ relationship with the rest of the family

Maples is often said to be clashing with Trump and other members of the family. However, contradictory to that statement, she is often said to be cordial and even affectionate with them. Bettina Anderson, Trump Jr’s girlfriend is also accused of the same. However, the two were seen spending time together at several events leading up to Trump’s presidential inauguration.

Posting a picture with Maples, Anderson called her a “beauty”. She captioned it “Backstage … ready to watch some dancing” making it evident that the two are close.
