Footballer Josh Allen created national headlines after winning the NFL’s “Most Valuable Player” award. Allen beat his competitor Lamar Jackson in what is said to be a very close competition between the two players. Allen’s contribution in the football world is highly appreciated by the audience. He proved himself by leading his team, Buffalo Bills to an AFC East title. After receiving the MVP award, Allen credited his fiancé and soon to be wife, Hailee Steinfeld for his success.

Although the duo was very secretive about their relationship, they were spotted together in 2023 giving birth to rumors about them dating. In the beginning of 2024, they finally made their relationship official by debuting at the red carpet for NFL Honors together. Allen also posted Steinfeld’s pictures to his Instagram in a series of birthday wishes. Posting a picture with her, Allen declared his love for his then girlfriend saying, “Here’s to forevermore.”
In November 2024, the couple stunned their fans by revealing a surprise engagement. Allen asked the big question to Steinfeld in Malibu while on vacation.

After winning the NFL’s MVP award, the quarterback thanked his fiancé for her support and defined her role in his career. He dedicated his award to her and referred to Steinfeld as his “rock” and “best friend”. He further added, “I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”
In Steinfeld’s newsletter called “Beau Society”, she thanked her husband’s team and fans for their consecutive support. She appreciated them welcoming her into their hearts. Mentioning her gratefulness for their support, Steinfeld described her feelings, “It’s so overwhelming how the city of Buffalo has embraced me.” She also spent a special thanks to the Buffalo city saying, “They are part of the main reason that it’s so special.”

Obsessed with football since his childhood, Allen has played the game his entire life. His talent was revealed to the world after playing for Wyoming when he led his team to win the Idaho Potato Ball. His participation in the game earned him the title of the game’s Most Valuable Player.
Allen then went on to play for the Buffalo Bills. His valuable involvement in the team led them to their 1st conference championship game since 1993. Although he was nominated for the MVP award, he unfortunately ended up losing to Aaron Rodgers.
In 2022, Allen’s fame skyrocketed after passing for an impressive 4283 yards and running 762 yards. Again, he was nominated for NFL’s MVP award but came third, losing to Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts.
It was finally in February 2025 that Allen finally ended up winning his well-deserved award for NFL’s Most Valuable Player. In a close competition, he beat Lamar Jackson who came second. While Allen received 27 awarding votes, Jackson got 23 1st-place awards. Amongst the weighted points, Allen received 383 points while Jackson obtained 362 points.
