Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard’ Brother, AJ Makes His Mark In The Media

The Pritchard brothers are massively known for their impressive dance moves. While Curtis garnered his fan following from the popular dating reality TV show, Love Island, AJ is known for his performance in ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ followed by his appearance on the dance series, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

Alex Joseph Pritchard, widely known as AJ, is a professional choreographer. He initially proved himself by showcasing his moves, along with partner, Chloe Hewitt, at Britain’s Got Talent in which the duo advanced to the semi-finals. Pritchard then tried a different route in his life by taking part in the famous cooking show, Celebrity MasterChef which he ended up leaving after a disaster making his apple crumble. He also took part in the show, Hunted to gather donations for cancer.

AJ reached the peak of his fame in 2019 after appearing on BBC’s reality show, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. He appeared alongside his brother, Curtis and the two starred as guest choreographers. The following year, he took part in the 20^th edition of “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here”.

AJ once again paired up with his brother to star in Channel 4’s drama, Hollyoaks. This was AJ’s debut soap which received massive criticism from the audience for his acting skills. 

AJ’s Appearance In Strictly Come Dancing

In 2016, AJ proved himself by his performance in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in its 14^th edition. He was widely appreciated for his unique choreography along with partner, Claudia Fragapane. The duo was eliminated in the semi-final round and placed 4^th overall.

After his success in the show, Pritchard reappeared the following year, partnering with singer, Mollie King. Although the duo was a fan favorite, they ended up finishing 5^th place. The subsequent year, AJ again ended up finishing in 5^th place along with his Paralympic athlete partner, Lauren Steadman. In 2019 however, he failed to reach the semi-final stage and was eliminated in the 10^th week of the show.

Although AJ was initially confirmed to be a part of the show’s next series in 2020, he later announced to leave the show, much to the fan’s disappointment. Pritchard explained that he was looking to explore other career options and was especially looking for work in presenting.

Love Island’s Curtis And Brother AJ Create Financial App

After gaining massive spotlight, the Pritchard brothers impressively created a financial app called “Fint” which is rapidly garnering fame each day. The brothers collaborated with IronMarket Wealth’s CEO, Wes Wilkes with a goal of making investing easy for youngsters.

Wes explained his idea for the app saying that he was aware that more and more people were looking to invest however were unaware about the risks. That’s where Fint comes in to make investing “approachable” and aims at “giving people confidence.”

Fint is massively appreciated for its uncomplicated design that helps the users easily access the knowledge to acquire skills in the fundamentals of investing.
