Michael Pierce is an American professional footballer who plays for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He was born on November 6, 1992, in Daphne, Alabama, United States of America. Please find out more about Michael, his career, and his relationship status.

Professional Career

Pierce played college football at Tulane before he got transferred to Samford. Then, he got signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in the year 2016. In 2020, Michael Pierce signed with the Minnesota Vikings and played two complete seasons with them. After 2 years, he returned back to the Baltimore Ravens.

On 3 May 2016, Pierce began his professional career with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. He played all 16 games as a rookie and completed the season with 35 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 pass defended. Back in 2017, during the first season opener, he recovered a Terrel Suggs forced fumble against the Cincinnati Bengals in a 20-0 victory.

Michael signed a three-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings on 25 March 2020. This contract was signed for $27 million. Fast forward to four months, Pierce announced that he had opted out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was placed on the reserve (opt-out) list by the Vikings. Back in the year 2021, he came back as a starting defensive tackle. Just after starting the first 4 games, he suffered an elbow injury in the 4th week. This made him miss the next four games before being placed in the injured reserves. He came back at the end of 2021 but then he was later released on 15 March 2022.

Michael Pierce again signed a three-year deal with the Ravens. This contract was signed for $16.5 million. Unfortunately, he again suffered a torn bicep in the 3rd week which made him placed on a season-ending injury in September 2022. Pierce started his 2023 season as a starting nose tackle for the Ravens. On 6 January 2024, he signed a two-year deal for a contract extension. This deal was signed for $7.5 million and implemented from the 2025 season. His first-ever career interception was made in the fourth quarter of the week 18 game against the Cleveland Browns.
